UTSHOB Flood Relief and Rehabilitation Initiative-2022/2024

 During times of national crisis, UTSHOB  Charity (Utshob-sd.org)  has consistently stood beside vulnerable communities. From the COVID-19 pandemic to the devastating floods of 2022 and 2024, UTSHOB has remained committed to providing humanitarian assistance, relief, and long-term rehabilitation support to those affected.

As part of its flood response efforts, UTSHOB Charity, in collaboration with Amrail Sixers and the University Tea Students' Association (UTSA), carried out humanitarian missions in several flood-affected tea garden communities. The relief and rehabilitation activities were conducted in:

Kurma Tea Garden

Champarai Tea Garden

Katabil Area, Kamalganj

The support provided included: 

Housing Rehabilitation: 15 families whose homes were severely damaged or destroyed by flooding received 10 sheets of corrugated tin each to help rebuild their homes and restore safe shelter. 

Emergency Relief Assistance: 150 flood-affected families received essential relief packages to support their immediate needs during the recovery period.

This humanitarian initiative was fully funded by UTSHOB Charity and successfully implemented with the dedicated support and field coordination of Amrail Sixers and UTSA.

The collaboration demonstrated the power of community-driven action in responding to emergencies and supporting vulnerable families on their path toward recovery and resilience. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and dedication to making these initiatives a success.

UTSHOB বন্যা ত্রাণ ও পুনর্বাসন উদ্যোগ 
 
জাতীয় সংকটের সময় UTSHOB Charity (Utshob-sd.org) সবসময় অসহায় ও দুর্যোগপীড়িত মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছে। করোনা মহামারী থেকে শুরু করে ২০২২ ও ২০২৪ সালের ভয়াবহ বন্যা পর্যন্ত, UTSHOB নিয়মিতভাবে মানবিক সহায়তা, ত্রাণ এবং দীর্ঘমেয়াদি পুনর্বাসন কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছে। 
 
বন্যা মোকাবিলা কার্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে UTSHOB Charity, Amrail Sixers এবং University Tea Students' Association (UTSA)-এর সহযোগিতায় বিভিন্ন বন্যাকবলিত চা-বাগান এলাকায় মানবিক সহায়তা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে। 
 
• কুরমা চা বাগান 
• চাম্পারাই চা বাগান 
• কাটাবিল এলাকা, কমলগঞ্জ 
 
প্রদত্ত সহায়তার মধ্যে ছিল: 
 
বাসস্থান পুনর্বাসন: ১৫টি পরিবারকে প্রত্যেককে ১০টি করে টিন প্রদান। 

জরুরি ত্রাণ সহায়তা: ১৫০টি বন্যাকবলিত পরিবারকে প্রয়োজনীয় ত্রাণ সামগ্রী প্রদান। 
 
এই মানবিক উদ্যোগটি সম্পূর্ণভাবে UTSHOB Charity-এর অর্থায়নে পরিচালিত হয়েছে এবং Amrail Sixers ও UTSA-এর সহযোগিতায় বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে।
